HDR’s Rolle named transportation program manager for Missouri and Kansas
(OMAHA, Neb., November 11, 2008)—Barry Rolle has been named program manager for Missouri and Kansas for HDR’s Transportation business group. In his new position, Rolle will provide strategic oversight of HDR’s transportation operations and will work with HDR’s public transportation clients in those states, specifically the state departments of transportation.
Rolle has 29 years of experience working with all levels of government on both engineering and planning projects. He joined HDR in 1994. Prior to his new position, Rolle served as the marketing manager for Kansas City, Mo. He was also HDR’s project manager for the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Route 367 Improvement Project in St. Louis, Mo. Previous positions include transportation division manager for the county of Santa Barbara, Calif., city traffic engineer for the city of Lenexa, Kan., and design technician for the city of Columbia, Mo.
A registered professional engineer, Rolle is a board member of the American Council of Engineering Companies–Missouri and the Regional Transit Alliance in Kansas City. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Transportation Engineers. He holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Missouri.
